If you want to keep your wooden rail yards running smooth, these switcher engines will certainly do the job.  Modeled after SW1500's, Alco's, MP15's, and NW2's, these wooden trains look just like the real ones and again are the first wooden trains of this design to hit the market.

Not seen much these days but these workhorses ran the rail yards back in the younger days of your father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  They were used to sort and hookup freight cars in the rail yards so the big diesel locomotives could pull the consists across the country.  Still used today in many places across our nation.

This MKT (Missouri Kansas Texas) wooden train engine is approximately 5" long and made of solid Beech hardwood. Handles all sizes of curved track, fits through tunnels and under bridges, even negotiates ascending hills, unlike the competition. Crafted by hand & painted in detail, the quality of this wooden train is of the highest standards.

Round magnetic couplers are compatible with Thomas Wooden Railway, Brio, and many other wooden train systems.

Painted with child safe non toxic materials.

O My I can't say enough good things about this company
They are absolutely AMAZING!!! I have been buying trains from this company for the past like 6 years . My nephew LOVES trains and this company makes them absolute realistic looking. Everyone of the trains that they make are all hand made and with LOVE. I know this because I have to start my Christmas shopping all year long since they sell out fast. That is because they are so amazingly made and I love this company so much that I have myself on a few waiting lists because I am so happy with the quality of product that I will wait and pay the price because this company is so well run and dependable.
