Sold out for 2025. We will continue to make batches of Big Boys in 2026. We will be offering the UP 4014 Big Boy to the customers on the wait list, IN ORDER of when they joined that list. Please do not ask for special consideration to purchase a train out of order of wait list sign up.
We have determined that this is the fairest way to sell the Big Boy due to the demand. There are currently several hundred customers on the wait list. We do NOT ship anything outside the 48 states. So if you live outside the United States, do NOT sign up for any of our products !!! Foreign emails will be purged.
Customers on the wait list will be contacted by us when these train sets are available via email. We will give notice on the "What's in Production" page of which sign up months we are working on. You need to respond to the email notification ASAP after being sent out. If you entered your info incorrectly on the wait list signup and did not receive the email notification on that particular release batch, we will have no choice but to move on to the next customer in line. Also if a household has entered multiple emails on the wait list the duplicates will be purged.
Customers have been asking us for years to design this locomotive and tender. We finally put our nose to the sanders and did it. A functioning and realistic Big Boy wooden train that runs on wooden track. A thing of beauty made up with over 110 individual parts, a 1000 different production steps and measuring over a FOOT LONG with the tender. Each set sold comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" to ensure it is manufactured by The Choo Choo Track & Toy Co. and not a cheap imitation. Copy caters will be called out.
