What's In Production ?
Please Read Carefully & you will understand what goes on here.
The info on this page is to inform our customers on the items we are working on now and in the near future. ("future" here is defined as: in the next few weeks). Instead of going to the website each day to see if something is back in stock or wondering if you will ever receive an email from the wait list, come to this page for general info. Items on this list are to help you and your purchase planning. NOTHING IS GUARANTEED.
The list below in GREEN are items that have been recently completed, are in stock, ready to order and ship out. The items in green are NOT ALL the products in stock at this particular time, it's just the most recent items. The list below in the top 10 are what our hands are working on right now. (If it is in the top 5, that tells you that they are in the paint room OR in the final stages of production.
When items hit the top 5 it also means 5-10 days before those items are back in stock and available for purchase.
11-20 are items we know you've been waiting for, and we need to start on.
If the out of stock items you are looking for are not on the list, it just means that they are further out OR you just missed the last production run of that item and are out of stock again.
We update this list every few days, so bookmark this page in your favorites and watch the "Last updated" date for any changes. Items that are further down the list are a very "general" production "need to do" list to us that may be very fluid (some leapfrogging may occur), therefore some lines are left blank. As items work their way up the list they are more likely to be next in line for production.
We always encourage you to click on the "WAIT LIST" button for a particular item. We refer to those wait list numbers when producing items. Please only sign up for items you intend on purchasing when back in stock. Our system automatically emails you when the items you sign up for come back in stock. Putting your contact info on the wait list for an item does not guarantee you that item. We are now releasing wait list emails anytime, any day. THANK YOU!

10. New locomotive scheme announcement: We have been working on this design for a couple months now. So if you see some similar aspects, well we guess we had the same ideas. Here's the scoop. A GEVO engine celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. This paint scheme on our GEVO engine isn't going to be just "slapped" together to get something out there. It will depict true American red, white, and blue colors with correct details everywhere. Giving the USA's 250th birthday the salute it deserves. And you will say "wow now that's cool". So you may want to hold off on purchasing some others engine for twice the price and wait just a little longer. We think the Statue of Liberty raises her "right" hand and the bell crack goes off to the right...........huh. Shows you the lack of research.....

20. Another batch of 4014 Big Boys this spring here in 2026.
BIG BOY 4014 INFO:
Going forward we will be offering the UP 4014 Big Boy to the customers IN ORDER of when they joined the wait list sign up. Remember your sign up date! ( Emails have been sent to BIG BOY wait list signups into the middle part of April of 2025. ) Check your inboxes and spam folder, reply to the email ASAP or we will move down the list. Please do not ask for special consideration to purchase a train out of order of wait list sign up. We have determined that this is the fairest way to sell the Big Boy due to the demand. There are currently hundreds of customers on the wait list. Customers on the wait list will be contacted by us when the trains are available. We will give notice on THIS production page in this section of which sign up months we are working on. At the end of 2025 we have deleted all wait list signups for the Big Boy that joined the wait list in 2024, those people have been notified and have not responded. This deletion of 2024 sign ups only applies to the 4014 Big Boy, all other wait lists for other items are on a first to order, first to receive basis after inventory gets updated and wait list emails get sent out. If you joined the wait list for the Big Boy in 2025 we still have your info. (Please read more about the Big Boy on its listing page description).

IMPORTANT INFO FOR OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS
With the enormous amount of orders for our products over the last few years, you can tell by the out of stock items that we simply cannot keep up with demand. If you are interested in our items for special gifts you might want to grab things that are in stock as they become available and accumulate those items. PLEASE do not think for a second that you can put your shopping list off and purchase everything your little engineer wishes for all at one time.
