This CSX wooden train engine is over 6" long and made of solid Beech hardwood. Handles all sizes of curved track, fits through tunnels and under bridges, even negotiates ascending hills, unlike the competition. Crafted by hand & painted in detail, the quality of this wooden train is of the highest standards.

Round magnetic couplers are compatible with Thomas Wooden Railway, Brio, and many other wooden train systems.

Painted with child safe non toxic materials.

Great Christmas present

I grabbed one of these for Christmas as a backup in case I couldn't get the mother of all toy trains and it's a very nice quality train, quite pleased with it. My son was thrilled to get a new CSX train for one of his gifts and immediately started playing and had to be reminded there were more presents. Good sign in a toy. Also I like the quality of these.

Fantastic Wooden Engine

My 4.5 year old son has been obsessed with playing trains since he was 2. Despite having dozens and dozens of wooden trains already, he'll see a train on a video or in real life and say "we should get one of those." I googled "wooden csx train" and came to this shop and bought this train. We own probably 50+ wooden trains (maybe more) and this shop makes THE BEST wooden trains. This engine, and the other black and white one I ordered, are beautiful and high quality. We also ordered a hopper car which was way longer than I expected, which was a happy surprise. I'm on the wait list for more of the engines because my son's got a Christmas list a mile long haha. THANK YOU for making trains that I hope will be passed down to my kids' kids someday!

LOVE IT!!

My son loves trains. Second train we’ve bought. (First BNSF) now the Blue CSX locomotive. He and I enjoy them both so much. Great job guys!

Excellent quality toy!

A few years ago at one of our local train shows we had purchased a different freight engine and railroad crossing from you. My son absolutely loves them and this past Christmas told Santa much too late that he wanted a CSX engine. Well, Santa has connections with the Easter Bunny and he received this in his Easter Basket. :) The quality and craftsmanship, attention to detail are all excellent. He loves his new CSX engine and has been playing with it and his other trains non stop since Easter. I was happy with how quickly it shipped as well. We will definitely be purchasing more from you in the future and hope to see you at another local train show as soon as things are back to normal!
