This is not your "General Purpose" engine you normally see in a wooden train, nope these are the big dogs. C44's, Dash 8's, Dash 9's, ES44AC's, GEVO's, whatever you want to call them.

With years of thought and many months of design, they are finally here. The detail of these engines are incredible, just like the ones you see everyday rolling through your towns across America.

This Norfolk Southern wooden train engine is over 6" long and made of solid Beech hardwood. Handles all sizes of curved track, fits through tunnels and under bridges, even negotiates ascending hills, unlike the competition. Crafted by hand & painted in detail, the quality of this wooden train is of the highest standards.

Round magnetic couplers are compatible with Thomas Wooden Railway, Brio, and many other wooden train systems.

Painted with child safe non toxic materials.

This was a gift for my son who is obsessed with trains. We see this train in real life at the railroad crossing near our house. He was so excited to receive it. It is an exact replica of the real one. Thank you. Will definitely be ordering more

NS is the FUN-ction!

Okay, not the best title for a review, but I digress. This NS GEVO is beautiful! There's a lot of elaborate detailing on all surfaces of the locomotive, it bears a lot of realistic qualities up close AND afar, and it is HUGE! For a locomotive of its size, this NS GEVO can handle inclines quite well! Excellent quality

The detail on the train is fantastic, and it shipped must faster than I expected. Can’t wait to surprise my 4yo for his birthday with this toy. We have train tracks about 50ft from our back deck and Norfolk Southern is the predominant engine that we see passing by.

Wooden Trains that are a Keepsake

We own a LOT of wooden trains in my house (my 4.5 year old son has been obsessed for 2+ years); most of which are very cheap and not very detailed. After my son specifically requested maybe getting a certain engine, a google search led me to this shop. I ordered this engine, another engine, and a hopper car, and I am SO impressed. The trains are build well, beautifully painted, and I hope they'll be something my future grandkids can play with some day. I'm never selling these after my son outgrows them! I'm on the waitlist for more!
